About

I’ve dedicated my entire career to working within the non-profit and public sectors, with 15 years spent in various non-profit organizations focused on children’s mental health, and the last 18 years serving in human resources at Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, a public sector organization. This diverse experience has allowed me to build expertise in organizational development, team dynamics, and performance management.
What I find most rewarding about my career is the opportunity to contribute to mission-driven organizations where my efforts directly impact the lives of those served. I thrive in environments where actions are guided by principles, and this philosophy is at the heart of my consulting work. I partner with service-oriented organizations to add value, strengthen their mission, and improve their overall effectiveness. My approach is rooted in integrity to mission and practicality, ensuring that solutions are both actionable and sustainable.
My motivation to move into consulting stemmed from a desire to reclaim my passion for HR—what I like to think of as my “HR soul.” I’m excited to bring my knowledge and skills to organizations who need and value it. I’m not looking to build a firm; rather, I’m focused on forging sustained, collaborative relationships with clients, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
When I’m not helping organizations thrive, you’ll often find me exploring the wilderness with a backpack or paddleboard. Whether exploring alpine environments in the Cascades, the High Sierra, or the Rockies, or the slot canyons of the American Southwest, I find peace and inspiration in nature that I bring back to my work.
